This painting was done on the request of my daughter in law. She loves giraffes,  the painting was adapted from 2 photos furnished by a friend who was in Africa for a vacation.  These are beautiful animals.  It will be combined with 2 previous paintings I did from photos in the same grouping. Each one is an 8 x 10 hardboard that can be framed.   I love painting Gods creations.

This wooden tray is 9 x 17 and painted with a combined pattern by Chris Thornton Deason. Click on photo to enlarge It is a 3 in one pattern that I used parts from all three to complete this look, the bottom of the tray is painted red. Like any decorative piece it is not to be used for food items, however I feel cupcakes still in their cupcake papers or any food that is wrapped would be fine.

Designed and painted this piece for Memorial Day, will use it for the 4th also. It is approx 15" h, 14" w, 1/2 inch thick wood. Can be screwed onto a wood garden post or a metal fence post. I got green ones from Home Depot and then all you have to do is replace the wood item for each occassion. very easy to do. many coats of varnish will keep it nice for years. Cut out a large piece and had to play with it to get to the areas to cut them out. Not painting as much, seem to be in a slump, watching tv and such. so had to do something new. Toletown has a monthly challenge where the teachers supply a small graphic for us to paint or do as we wish, I took the cute snowman in a stocking outline and put it on this candlestick. I kinda like him, fun piece to do.I also did a Mrs. Claus to go with him, sent it to my Secret Santa partner.
